The move deepens Cox Automotive’s connected approach to the wholesale buying journey, giving dealers the ability to compare transportation options and choose the approach that best fits each purchase, all without leaving the platforms they already use to source and buy inventory.

Two Ways to Move a Vehicle

Since 2023, dealers using Manheim and Stockwave have been able to see real-time transportation estimates from Ready Logistics right alongside the inventory they’re evaluating. Now with the addition of pricing insights from Central Dispatch, the two can work together to support different transportation needs and preferences:

• Ready Logistics provides a fully managed transportation option, backed by a network of more than 6,000 vetted carriers, for dealers who prefer to hand off the shipping process.
• Central Dispatch operates the industry’s largest vehicle transportation platform where shippers, including dealers, connect with carriers directly to arrange vehicle moves. On Manheim.com and OVE.com, Central Dispatch transportation estimates now appear directly on the vehicle detail page, right where dealers evaluate, bid on and buy vehicles. Each estimate is specific to the listing, showing a predicted price range to ship that vehicle to the dealer’s location based on current market rates and active listing data. If the vehicle is headed somewhere else, dealers can simply change the destination zip code.

In Stockwave, used by more than 7,000 dealership rooftops to source auction vehicles across more than 300 marketplaces, Central Dispatch transportation estimates now appear in the “glance” feature. They sit alongside key insights ranging from guidebook values to vAuto’s live market view and demand metrics, giving dealers another input as they decide what to buy, where to find it and how much to pay, all before the transaction is complete.
