Lentech Names Kevin Bennett to Board of Directors

ELKRIDGE, MD, UNITED STATES, September 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Lentech, Inc., a 100% employee-owned provider of technology and engineering solutions to the federal government, announced today that Kevin Bennett has joined the company’s Board of Directors.

As a Lentech board member, Kevin will advise the company’s leadership team on strategic growth, federal market positioning, and enterprise operations as Lentech enters its next phase of expansion.

Kevin spent more than nine years at SAIC, most recently as Vice President, Business Development, where he led business development for a $1.4 billion/year business group with a $100 billion-plus pipeline across the U.S. Air Force, DoD Combatant Commands, and DoD agency customers. He led a team of more than 50 business developers, capture managers, and solution architects, directing capture and proposal efforts that resulted in $4.8 billion in contract wins. Under his leadership, the business unit achieved the fastest organic revenue growth in the company, with a 20% CAGR over three years.

Before SAIC, Kevin completed a 28-year career in the United States Air Force, rising to senior IT and cyberspace leadership roles including Deputy CIO for U.S. Transportation Command, Commander of the 49th Wing’s Mission Support Group at Holloman Air Force Base, and Deputy CIO for U.S. Cyber Command. He also served on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon, advising the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on information sharing and cybersecurity policy.
